Last days in Peru - Puno and Lake Titicaca

The bus journey to Puno, which is on the shores of lake Titicaca.
People are always getting on the buses to sell you stuff.  One guy on this journey gave a half an hour speech trying to sell chocolate bars.  It was very impressive,we bought two for about 50c.  People try to sell things through the railings at bus stations too...

The next day we went on a short boat trip out to Uros, the floating islands of lake Titicaca.
There are about 60 man made floating islands in the group, everything is made of reeds, and it's bouncy when you walk on it. Supposedly people still live there but they wouldn't if there wasn't any tourism.
They brought us on to the island, explained how it was made and answered any questions we had, and then tried to sell us crafts.  Then when we were leaving these islanders sang songs in loads of different languages, in English they sang 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,' it seemed really degrading and cringe-worthy.
The sky was a really dark blue...
Then we were stranded on the 'capital' island where we could avail of the shops and restaurants...
Back in Puno there was some kind of festival going on all day, it was great, really good music costumes and atmosphere.  All the guidebooks say Puno is a horrible place, but we liked it, it's a pretty normal town really.
Restaurant we ate in...was playing great music...
Socks and sandals.
Pollerias everywhere selling chicken and chips...
Then on the bus around the lake to the border...it's really bright during the day at this altitude, making the water really sparkle...
