Bolivia- Lake Titicaca and La Paz

Had a pretty straight-forward crossing into Bolivia, on a bus completely full of backpackers. Stopped off at Copacabana on the Bolivian side of lake Titicaca for about an hour on the way, decided not to stay and visit the popular Isla del Sol because we were getting sick of being around the overly touristy sites.
The border into Bolivia...
 Copacabana...
The trip from Copacabana to La Paz, around the lake and through the altiplano an area of high plateau in the Andes...
Our bus being ferried across the lake...
La Paz is the capital of Bolivia.  It's a really vibrant and interesting city...
Our dinner being made out the front of the restaurant...
We think this might have been llama meat...
Zebra crossings...La Paz's government has tried to remedy the city's bad traffic problem with "Cebra Voluntaria" : 16-22 year olds serve as crossing guards to help enforce traffic laws... dressed as zebras...
Hostel seating area...
Picture of Simon Bolivar on the 10 Boliviano note...
Went to the wealthy area  in the city, the zona sur, which is 15km away from the centre...a photography exhibition of people from the altiplano...
There are old Beetles everywhere...
Ceviche...
Downtown La Paz...
Scantily clad women sell everything here... paint stripper anyone?
Cone pizzas...
We were staying really near the witches market in the city, where they sell dried llama fetuses.  These are buried under the front porch of peoples' houses for good luck...
